Fabric Used for Housekeeping Uniforms
Housekeeping uniforms should be made of a light fabric that will make the wearer feel comfortable. You can check the market for examples or better yet ask an experienced tailor. The fit of the uniform should not be too tight too. Housekeeping personnel needs to be able to move freely around since their tasks are mostly focused on keeping things neat and in order.
Thick fabrics are not applicable for such uniforms especially if it is summer and the sun is scorching hot. Housekeeping personnel will only soak in sweat and instead of their tasks being done in a small amount of time, wrong choice of fabric will only hinder them from doing such.
Choosing the right kind of fabric for housekeeping uniforms may be overlooked by the company. They may think that it is just a petty thing. But we must remember that it is actually important because it affects the workers the company is responsible of.
